Dear Mr. and Mrs. Hoaglund,
I just wanted to say thank you for loaning us your daughter for 40 to 60 hours a week here at BPN. Everyone at the agency loves working with Emma, and the leadership team couldn't be more thrilled with her contributions.I'm not sure what you did all those years in Minnesota to raise such a poised, thoughtful, intelligent, creative, dependable and downright enjoyable daughter, but believe me, we appreciate the results every single day. (Did lutefisk have anything to do with it?)

Let's be clear: The only reason you're reading this review is because I can't hire Emma right now. But one day I will – so if you scoop her up, you'll have to answer to me sooner or later. Emma is wonderful. Talented beyond her years/experience, amazingly responsible, and she just radiates enthusiasm. I collaborated with Emma very closely over a period of roughly 3 months where she was responsible for creative concepts and script for a campaign video, and took secondary duties supporting web copy for the campaign website. During that time, I learned the following about Emma:
- She's damn fast: Seriously - I shouldn't even tell you about how fast she can spin around good copy.
- She's a sponge: This project required consuming a LOT of highly technical information and transforming it into something human and emotional. She nailed it.
- She's highly collaborative: Emma worked closely with our video team to translate her concepts into storyboards. Her positive impact on the team was palpable.
If you need more - reach out to me. This lady gets all the respect I have to give.

Emma is a wonderfully creative writer, with the quick ability to grasp brand, technology and team needs. She works hard and is willing to dive in to a variety of projects across styles and formats, from animation to character video to web. She also is a strong and steady communicator, able to clearly present her ideas to teams and clients. She has a super-positive attitude and was an excellent, well-liked, cultural fit; becoming one of the family almost immediately."
-Dennis Rockey, Executive Creative Director, 3/Thirds
Emma is a bright woman who does not take the easy or obvious path to finding creative opportunities. She constantly pushes herself to newer and more interesting solutions. She is a writer who knows how to write.
Dare I say, having people like Emma in your employ will make your other creative people...more creative.
